Accompanying the announcement is the band’s powerful new single, “I Feel Hope Coming,” which debuts today, July 10, 2026. Frontwoman Brittany Howard describes the track as a resilient anthem, emphasizing the importance of rejecting cynicism and finding genuine optimism through the perspectives of younger generations.

Produced by the band alongside six-time Grammy winner Shawn Everett, the album was recorded at Nashville’s Sound Emporium and Blackbird Studios. It incorporates themes including love, loss, human connection, and the challenging realities of modern life.

This is the trio’s first full-length project since their 2015 Grammy-winning masterpiece, Sound & Color. The record finds the band venturing deeper into expansive, psychedelic soul territory.
