Carrying the theme “We Are 1,” the gathering unites the historic neighborhoods of Plateau, Magazine Point, Kelley Hill, Lewis Quarters, and Hog Bayou. From 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 850 Edwards Street, the afternoon offers an opportunity for neighbors, families, and elders to connect and celebrate local culture.

True to its tradition of giving back, the free community event features free food and a lively atmosphere. Families are simply asked to bring their lawn chairs and settle in for an afternoon packed with music, creative art displays, spacewalks for the kids, and a competitive “Bake Your Cake” contest.

Community members looking to purchase official event t-shirts ahead of time can place an order by calling 251-648-4188.
